LOTS OF MISSING/DELETED FILES!

I'VE HAD TO SHUT DOWN COMMENTS ON THIS BLOG FOR NOW BECAUSE THE TROLL'S MOMMY TAUGHT HIM HOW TO CUT AND PASTE COMMENTS.

I'VE DISCOVERED THIS WEEK THAT MEGAUPLOAD HAS DELETED DOZENS OF MY MUSIC FILES IN ALL OF MY BLOGS. I GUESS THEY ARE TIRED OF COLLECTING MY PREMIUM ACCOUNT FEES ANY LONGER, AND WOULD LIKE ME TO MOVE ON. I HOPE TO HAVE THEM RE-SHARED AGAIN SOON, BUT RIGHT NOW MY TIME IS BEING TAKEN UP TRYING TO RECOVER FILES FROM THE PC VIRUS SENDING IDIOT THAT WIPED OUT MY OPERATING SYSTEM A COUPLE WEEKS AGO. I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO RE-INSTALL WINDOWS XP. WE WEREN'T ABLE TO EVEN GET BACK IN UNDER "SAFE MODE" SO I LOST ABOUT 72GB WORTH OF MUSIC, IMAGE AND SOFTWARE FILES MUCH OF WHICH ARE IRREPLACEABLE. BEAR WITH ME AS I TRY TO GET THE DEAD LINKS FIXED.
BTW - I GOT THE REALLY BAD VIRUS A FEW WEEKS AGO FROM TRYING TO DO AN UPDATE TO REALPLAYER 9. I JUST I'D LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT.

Boy, I hope I didn't send the virus. All I did was download a couple albums. Which I appreciate your making available, by the way. Thank you for sharing them.

No actually I got that while I was trying to do an update to Real Player 9.

Hi Dave,

I have a lot of Christmas albums on vinyl and CD if I can have a chance, I will working on a number of Christmas albums like "Cool Yule" by Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen from "Full House", "Christmas With Conniff" and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" by the Ray Conniff Singers, the "CBS-FM Ultimate Christmas Album" volumes 1-6 and a few others that I will be playing to work on as soon as I can find, maybe you should add these onto your blog, because Christmas is about two months away.

I will add anything anyone sends me so yes do.

As for my own shares I have a ton of unshared Christmas LPs. That's why I made this blog last winter. I had expected to share more by now here, but circumstances our of my control have eaten into my share time.

BTW - on top of my own still unshared LPs I just got all of my Dad's Christmas LP (about 50 of them). These I will be sharing here as well as putting most of them up for sale at my BluJay or ProBidz sites.

My Dad eventually wants me to sell his whole LP collection for him. He is getting remarried soon to a woman who has her 2 teenage granddaughters living with her. The room where he kept his LPs and music equipment will be the oldest girls bedroom once they move in. So he's in the process of ripping all of the LPs to CDs, and then I'll be putting them all up for sale soon afterwards.

Yes you read correctly. My 77 year old Dad is getting remarried to a woman only 10 years older than me. Am I happy about it? Does it really matter? No. My Dad has pretty much done whatever he wants since my Mom died 5 years ago. His 3 kids opinions don't make a difference in this or many other matters. Oh well. This woman's already put one hubby in the ground, and has lived off his pension ever since. I guess my Dad's pension is better. Plus he has an $88,000.00 house I'm sure he'll be leaving to her now instead of us 3 kids. Do I sound bitter....lol?

Hey, Dave -

Long-time listener, first-time caller...

Just read your comments on the ingrates with no patience. Like Kris Kristofferson said: "don't let the bastards get you down!" You're running a great blog here and I've found more than my share of forgotten gems and treasures (The Goodyear,Firestone and Grant's collections specifically!).

Just wanted you to know you've got a fan out there that has no problem patiently waiting for your next piece of holiday treasure!

Keep up the great work!

A Fan,
-Tim

Hi Dave,

Did you try pulling the drive and running it as a slave in another PC? I've saved the files from many a crashed OS disc that way.
