Great stuff. thanks for all the posts and rips-I can't wait for "THE BEST OF THE GREAT SONGS OF CHRISTMAS GOODYEAR VOLUME 10 COLUMBIA 1970"
Steve Lawrence's version of ""Twas the Night Before Christmas" is, for numerous reasons, my fave cut off that disc. Great, great blog.

Just wanted you to know, that there are still some of us who check you site every couple of days, just to see what's new. Thank you so much for your dedication to Christmas, and to checking the thrift stores on a regular basis. I find it fun to see what you have found, and anticipate your getting time to get the finds up on your site. My husband is thinking of limiting my time on the computer since I spend so much time looking for new finds. I discovered Sallie's site in early Dec. when I was looking for "That Christmas Feeling", and have been addicted ever since. Love to Sallie if she reads this, and thanks again to her for making Christmas for the rest of my life. And thanks to you Dave for making Christmas so much better because of all the wonderful music I (and everyone else in the world)now get to listen to.
Thanks Again!

Thanks to you both. MY first love will always be Halloween LPs, but i have extremely fond memories from my childhood of listening to my Dad's numerous Christmas LPs. We had just wondeful times at Christas with my Mom's whole side of the family she being one of 6 kids. Our family gatherings were quite the experience, and this kind of music brings all of those remembrances flooding back to my mind. I'm only too glad to share the love.

Looking forward to hearing all these albums. What a great find that so many were sealed or in NM condition.

I know. And this was my very first ouuting too. There's a trading store that buys, sells, trades. The owner tells me they have a basement full of LPs for sale at $2.00 each. Unfortunately i can only walk with the use of crutches. When I looked at the steep stairs leading down to the basement I decided I am going to have to go back another time when my legs are fresh. No telling what jewels he has down there.
